This was not brought to a vote as there were a couple Democratic Senators not in attendance. Don’t think this has been defeated or has gone away. They will be back when they think they have the votes. It’s our job to keep an eye on them and make sure the party that wants our guns doesn’t get the upper hand. Vote them out a fast as we can.

I spent most of today going on EVERY member of Congress & Senator’s FaceBook Page, sending them links to statistics on how this is all a lie, and various you-tube videos, also reminding them of their oath.
I found out this is one of the best ways of being heard, see what happens when you e-mail them, they all have Aids who work for them and if your e-mail isn’t totting the party line, the Aid (personal Employee) just deletes the message and your Voice is NEVER Heard.
Several times today I went back to visit some of my comments left on their FaceBook page and guess what, there was a “Fire Storm” of comments from people who had no Idea what was going on, the word spread like crazy and they were Angry to put it mildly. God Bless America & Long Live the Republic

These bills are not aimed at criminals in the slightest. Attacking shooting ranges? I only see hunters, competition shooters, retired men, active & retired military, parents & children, and couples at the shooting range. Been shooting for years, and not one thug/gangster has ever come near. The worst criminal record on shooters at the range is probably fishing over the limit.

I own a lot of guns legally in my state, all purchased with background checks in the past, but still I have no idea how I would prove I legally own the guns. I have no idea where receipts for them would be, let alone if the receipts ever showed the serial numbers on the guns in the first place. Some of the guns pre-date the whole back ground check thing in the first place, but were bought legally. This is some crazy stuff in Illinois, and I fear it may get pushed nationally. I also fear that eventually the whole “I sold them.” etc stuff won’t stop them from searching your home.
