NRA – ILA

Charlotte, NC --(Ammoland.com)- Last week, the Henderson Board of Commissioners  tabled their proposal to prohibit persons from carrying concealed firearms in city owned or controlled buildings.

To view this proposed ordinance, see pages 142 to 144 of the meeting agenda   from their January 22 meeting.

This ordinance passed its first reading unanimously at the Board of Commissioners’ meeting on January 22, and was up for a final vote at their January 24 special meeting.  At the start of their special meeting, it was announced that this proposed ordinance was being removed from the agenda.

Thank you to everyone who called your city officials and attended the Board of Commissioners’ meeting to voice your opposition to this restrictive proposal that would have placed arbitrary restrictions on lawful firearms owners in Henderson.

    1. It’s really good to win one now and then. If we stand tall together, big or small government won’t get their way.
