Another horrible thought: What if by some bizarre scientific experiment, Feinstein/Frankenstein underwent treatment and was still alive at age 180 continuing to taunt our great grandchildren about the evils of guns!Who would have the stomach to view her hideous mug on television? If you need fast cash and take your gun to the pawn shop,You will have to go thru the red tape to get it back, and you may be denied. OH! dont forget about that back ground check when you give your son his first 22 to hunt rabbits, you may go to jail, thats a gun show loop-hole also.

It IS confiscation and once the gungrabbers manage to close the nonexistent “gun show loophole” (the legal private transfer of property ownership between citizens), by requiring all firearm transfers to be conducted though a FFL our guns will be gone.
Questions: Do you have a gun that has been handed down through generations in your family, or do you own a gun purchased prior to the implementation of the Brady Bull? Will you be able to provide documented proof that you own the gun in order to make a legal transfer of ownership? What’s going to happen to the gun if you can’t.

I just wander why nobody has said anything about impeaching these people that took an oath to UPHOLD the constitution. They can’t even give a budget plan which is constitutional. We don,t teach American history in schools anymore. What it means to be an American. Or what it took to have freedom.We have drunks and liars ruining this great country. Our military,the greatest on earth being dismantled and becoming less of a nation. I could go on and on but its a shame that decant politicians with conservative views can’t stick together and force these liberals who want to destroy America out!!!!!!!!ITS OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO BARE ARMS!!!

How about the good citizens introduce a “ban for lunatic legislators” bill. Ban all of them, no exceptions. Anyone who has ever voted on and for any piece of legislation concerning the banning of firearms. For we all know a firearm can not just pick itself up and shoot, yes. Why are they blaming the firearms?
Why a ban on these lunatics? Because they are treasonous, lying tyrants trying to abolish our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

For the uninformed, Diane Feinstein by her own admission, has been working on this bill for many months. She acknowledges it has been in the works since her last draconian bill was rejected. Her current bill has nothing to do with the safety of children or anyone else. When a person wants their way any excuse will do. Would-be dictatorships always eliminate the opposition ( firearms) first

What they’re doing is right out of the British & Japanese playbooks for gradually disarming the people. Fortunately, they’re having a much harder time with it here.

One thing the pro gun rights side should realize is that it makes no sense to pay taxes to the thugs that are violating our rights. Many talk about being ready to fight tyrannical govt. I say lets start by not supporting it.

Feinstein appears to have changed the registration/no transfer/forfeit clause – at least in the published summaries (can’t see the whole bill yet).

The legislation excludes the following weapons from the bill:
 Any weapon that is lawfully possessed at the date of the bill’s enactment;
 Any firearm manually operated by a bolt, pump, lever or slide action;
 Assault weapons used by military, law enforcement, and retired law enforcement; and
 Antique weapons.

 Requiring a background check on all sales or transfers of a grandfathered assault weapon.
o This background check can be run through the FBI or, if a state chooses, initiated with a state agency, as with the existing background check system.

 Imposing a safe storage requirement for grandfathered firearms, to keep them away from prohibited persons.

But as I said earlier THE DEVEIL IS IN THE DETAILS!

100 years? More like twenty. Read Feinstein’s bill. It grandfathers a bunch of guns, but then prohibits not only their sale and manufacture, but also their *transfer*. So you will not be able to sell it or pass it on to your heirs. Part of the bill was to force registration of grandfathered weapons. So they will at your death come and confiscate them. Bleeding hell people wake the f* up! This is confiscation. Do not let them tell you otherwise.

Is it just me, or does this article seem anti-gun. Seems like the only point the author makes that gets him upset is that they included a ‘grandfathering’ clause. As a supporter of privacy and the 2nd amendment I don’t want a grandfather clause that includes me registering my guns and paying a $200 tax. Be upset at more than just the inclusion of that clause, hate the entire Idea and Bill.
