‘No ma’am’: Letter from U.S. Marine to Dianne Feinstein

USA –-(Ammoland.com)- Dear: Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own.

Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain.

I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

I agree wholeheartedly with this former Marine. To my shame I was at one time associated with a group whom gave a campaign contribution to Feinstien. This woman did nothing more than enrich herself over the true needs of her constituancy. That to support the constituion. Knowing that this past week, my brother (Air Force veteran), defended his home and family from a burglar making a return visit to their home on the day after Christmas with one of his legally owned firearms and held this repeat offender on the floor of their kitchen until the police arrived and took him into custody, I cannot fathom the sheer idiocy of elected officials such as this hypocrite Feinstein pushing for such legislation. my injuries from my war bother me up til today. the poisons dropped from spray planes, on me make me sick still.

I was lucky, I did my time between wars in the reserves. I have never used my guns for anything but hunting, target shooting, and personal protection of myself and my family. We are protected by the 2nd amendment to have a gun, any gun for recreation and protection. To many GOP Senators, sit on the Fence and want to wait for their Constitutes opinions, WI Senator Ron Johnson's form letters indicate that. He hasn't made decision yet on, Sen. Dianne Frankenstein's gun banning plans, he wants the Sandy Hook school memories to fade, he feels that to many people are to emotionally upset now, so the Senator wants to wait until there is more rational thinking. By then Frankenstein's Bill will in and voted on.

We don't have a gun problem, we have a mental health problem. Sane people don't kill others, unless it's in self-defense or to keep someone from killing others. Until they admit this, we'll never have a calm, objective debate on how the problem can be dealt with.
