I have to agree that the mental illness thing is a slippery slope. It can change definitions based on who writes the rules. Remember the “o” administration thinks military veterans and “bitter” clingers, for instance, are terrorists.

I take only issue with the simplicity of NRAs term, “the mentally ill” . By this definition with current Psychiatric trends we are all “mentally ill”! What of the retired Cop who has seen children in hell and pain? Do you not see that depression would be a likely result? Or the Combat Veteran such as myself? Yes depression can be an issue. Yet we are not only the least likely for illegal violent conduct, we are in fact the sheepdogs amongst the flock. And by NRAs simplistic definition we too would be disarmed.. Nor Sir I say that the definition of threat to self or others must be the defining criteria.. And without due process that will be null and void . NRA should know one thing and that is that if they collaborate or betray us we will bury them! Molon Labe’ God Bless the Republic ! Time to kill our central private bank the Federal Reserve which is niether, and put the Federalists back into their confines of a constitutional cage.

I don’t care what group you belong to, just because you are a member ( for some self appointing reason to your self ) these MEMBERS are a BLACK EYE to the general members and don’t belong to our cause. They would give away there ***** and **** thru there ribs, if it would promote them self”s. I myself stand 100% with the NRA, Const. and Bill for Rights.

The shocker here to me is that if 89% oppose a ban on MSRs, that means that 11% of the NRA are in favor of it or neutral on it. Idiots who answered that way: your guns will be next.
