There is no way to regulate private sales of firearms without a national database and criminal penalties for not registering one’s firearms. Almost everyone is in favor of conducting background checks on ALL gun buyers, so this national gun registration plan is the only way to get this done. There are lots of federal prisons, so there will be plenty of room for those who refuse to follow the law. Just think how many people refuse to follow drug laws and go to prison. Same with gun owners, someday.

The ONLY future firearms legislation acceptable to any real American would be a COMPLETE repeal of the 1968 federal firearm fiasco and NOTHING ELSE added to further diminish OUR 2ND AMENDMENT GUARANTEE OF PROHIBITED NATURAL RIGHTS . In point of fact ALL firearms laws on the books passed since 1300 should be repealed as a process in resolving the murder rate issue in the United States .

We really need to engage at a level unheard of in the history of defending our “Constitution right to the 2nd amendment” Writing letters, e-mails, phone calls go unheard or even read. Standing in a massive assembly at the white house is really the only answer. All of this has been scripted as a back-up in the event that “Fast&Furious” debacle did not get the results they wanted!! So far Obama has proposed nothing, so this article is rank speculation
Biden is meeting with the NRA and gun groups today, so it’s clear they’re not planning anything radical. This article just frightens people, makes them buy more guns, and enriches the US arms industry.

This was in reference to the 2nd amendment, but applies
to all constitutional amendments.
Jay Sekulow, Chief Council of the ACLJ (American Center of Law and Justice) said that “NO” presidential executive order can override a constitutional amendment.
