This time has come to an end long ago and now americans need guns to defends against internal citizens. Tell me when an outside source required for all americans to arm/defend themselves in the past 30 years? The army is there to defend against terrorism and wars, militia, throughtout history were formed under wars to help the army, not before wars. Exemple, everyone is armed, did it prevent 9/11 ? People are shooting carelessly and just for fun at planes, they did 20 years ago, and are still doing it now.

Their own senator, Diane Feinstein said many times that if she thought she had the votes she would say “OK, Mr. & Mrs. America, turn them in!”. She has repeated that many times. But oddly enough, this new assault weapon ban does not apply to her (or any government official – just like Obamacare and “normal” government employee retirement benefits).
