They can pass all the laws on this they want- with statewide preemption the law is null and void. They are going to lose a lot of money in court if they try to arrest somebody for violations of this.

The libtards in my hometown, (Dayton,Ohio), passed a similar law some years ago. But they had to throw the law out. Seems the idiots outlawed the very guns that the Dayton Police carried. (Glock 22)

All Semi-Automatic firearms means rifles,pistols and shotguns.This is wrong.The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.Its our second Amendment and God given right to protect ourselves and others.People come to America and become citizens to be free and have protection under the constitution.Alot of Americans have died in battle to keep America’s freedom.Whats next they will want people to turn in their semi-auto weapons.I will die before I turn in any weapon.I hope 100 million gun owners are with me to die if need be in civil disobedience and civil war if need be.Let’s march on Washington 100 million gun owner march to keep our freedoms.Let’s Roll!!!!!

It sounds like somebody needs to be prepared to be ‘civil disobedient’ to get this city statute into a court of law as soon as it is enacted. There is probably a person who currently does not own a firearm who can buy a semi-auto firearm and serve notice to the city that they are bringing it into the city.
I suggest a non-firearm owners because I would assume that upon citation, the authorities would try to confiscate all firearms the cited person may own. Somebody like a nice grandmother type who would choose to have a self-defense weapon in her home.
Any patriotic granny willing to volunteer?

It might be time for Winchester and Colt to look for greener pastures. It appears that NE states are starting to get hostile to their presence.

They tried this crap in Florida and our legislators put monetary punishments for cities, counties and individual officers in order to put teeth in our preemption law. It works well and we have low violent crime rates.
