I stand behind Smith & Wesson's decision 100%.

The right to own any semi auto firearm manufactured is no different than owning any automobile manufactured. I spend 33 year in the US Military defending these rights.

Doc

Great move in support of our rights, just move to the South and let the North Eastern States see what an industry does, when they are not valued. The South has room for ALL of the firearms & ammo industry!

CivilianDog

This is the kind of example that not only gun mfgs should be making, but our elected politicians in DC should be engaged in as well. Everyone is soooo concerned about a backlash for standing up for what is right, but as these comments clearly show the multitudes will appreciate it, and surely will vote with their $$$. S&W, I own 3 M&Ps (both Pistol and Rifle) and WILL purchase another gun from you in the future because of this stance. Thank you for not caving into the ridiculous tyrants that demonize law abiding citizens because they support their right… Read more »

Thank you S&W. As a former quality control supplier to this great company, and an owner of 'a few' S&W masterpieces, I applaud this courageous decision. Just so sorry that I couldn't find an M&P15 to buy, – – all sold out. But I'll own one as soon as they can be found.

MrBigTex

NRA pulled out of this same venue for the same reason. WTG!

Bukkiah

Ahhhh relief that S&W will not fail in the way old S&W did.

Ever think about relocating to Alabama?

S&W Purchaser

It is time for Gun & Ammo manufacturers to make the move out of states that reject the value they add to society and move to 2nd Amendment friendly states. This nation is fracturing along value based societal fault lines. It is only a matter of time that these states exert unjust pressures on these companies that are providing millions of tax dollars to support their Left agendas. Instead, they should relocate to states that will assist them, protect them and provide incentives to them. New York, California and Illinois for example should not benefit from the revenues from gun… Read more »

S&W, when the hell are you going to get out of that God forsaken part of the country and move down here to Louisiana, or maybe to Texas. Somewhere where the people respect you and the products you make.

M&P Fan

Makes me very proud to have bought three S&W pistols in the last year.

Well done Smith and Wesson. ALL others should follow suit. A gun show without guns……..that would be something…………well deserved.
