The two issues are ENTIRELY unrelated except that they both involve government trampling on INDIVIDUAL rights. Be pro-independent choice and mind your own business; I don’t want the government deciding what is best for my daughter’s, sister’s, mother’s, wife’s, girlfriend’s, or ANY woman’s uterus. That should be between her, her doctor, and for those who need it, god. Period.

I think life should be determined when there is a detectable heartbeat. After all death is legally and medically determined when the heartbeat ceases. Normally heartbeats in fetuses begin around 18 days after conception.
