Historically, tyrrany's assault on personal freedoms could not proceed without completing their 'Phase II' – complete disarmament of their intended victims. My question, Is it because we are led by cowards; afraid of the general population, while releasing known criminals back to the streets. Also, How is it the entrusted elite do not fear release of known criminals to the streets? Is it because they have employed deadly security services to protect their regal asses?
