Winchester, KY - -(Ammoland.com)- Due to the recent changes in 2nd Amendment laws that are pending or currently enforced by states across the country, the J&T Family of Companies which includes J&T Distributing, DoubleStar Corp., Ace Limited, and the DoubleStar Training Academy has been forced to reassess our policies regarding government and law enforcement sales.
Effective immediately, the J&T Family of Companies will be joining other manufacturers and distributors by ceasing sales of regulated items in states that have altered the rights of citizens to keep and bear arms.
The JTFOC will no longer sell prohibited items to law enforcement agencies or any government agencies in states, counties, cities, and municipalities that have enacted restrictive gun control laws against their law abiding citizens.
We hope other companies will join us with their support. We applaud those already involved with this effort to protect our 2nd Amendment rights.

Many people ask “where did DSC come from?” After 25 years of success with J&T Distributing selling black rifle parts and accessories, Teresa and Jesse Starnes(Double-Starnes’) decided to create a full line of complete weapons to satisfy the thousands of requests to build an AR-15. The J&T Distributing customer base demanded a rifle that incorporated the versatility and quality that J&T had been providing them for so long.
That is where DSC was born.
Manufactured in Winchester Kentucky, DSC has continued to supply not only the commercial market but military and law enforcement forces across the world with high quality firearms they can depend on. Every rifle built uses only US made parts, but is built with precision, care, and pride. Each rifle is built, test fired, and boxed to be sent to one of our many dealers across the country.
While DSC is in full swing, J&T Distributing remains in business in the same facility, allowing our customers to have a full line of parts and accessories to build the custom rifle of their dreams. I am proud of your commitment and will buy from you when things are available again. I would have already if I had been able to find any of your products at any dealers local to me.
I am very glad you have put out this notice. I am a deputy in Texas, but I am a free American citizen 1st and foremost and one who believes in and has read the Constitution and the Federalist papers and as many of the notes written by our founders. I would like to see you go further and single out any law enforcement/government official and restrict sales to them as individuals for violating their oath and committing treason. I would also like to see all the manufacturers empower the free citizen with training and education in reloading ammo and maintenance of personal defense weapons.
As a resident of what was once the great state of New York, I would like to, personally, thank Double Star and all other firearm manufacturers who are standing up for the rights of Americans. I have no doubt that “We the People” will overcome the attemps of despots to usurp the rights that are granted to us by God and protected by our Constitution. The fight, however, will be long and arduous. Just yesterday, ten thousand New Yorkers showed up on Cuomo’s doorstep in Albany to tell him “MOLON LABE”. While I am skeptical that he actually heard their voices, I feel certain that members of congress who, for some unknown reason, supported his tyranical gun law did.
