BEAVERTON, Ore. --(Ammoland.com)- Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is excited to announce the creation of two new vice presidential positions that are designed to improve the company’s performance in key areas of its Manufacturing, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain efforts.

These positions are being added after another year of record setting sales that have seen a continued rapid increase in demand for Leupold & Stevens, Inc.’s American made and sourced products.

A new Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering will be hired and will provide leadership and strategic direction for Leupold & Stevens’ engineering, quality, new product innovation, continuous improvement and manufacturing functions. This role is critical as Leupold & Stevens, Inc. continues to evolve to meet surging demand for its American made products and components.

Within Global Supply Chain Division a new Vice President of Global Supply Chain will provide leadership and strategic direction for Leupold & Stevens’ supply chain division. In recent years, Leupold & Stevens, Inc.’s rangefinder and binocular lines have seen rapid expansion to meet growing demand, and this position will be critical to support the ongoing growth within these important segments.

“The last two years have seen us greatly increase sales while repositioning and realigning the company to be better prepared to compete in the future,” said Calvin Johnston, President and CEO of Leupold & Stevens, Inc.

“These new changes give us the ability to grow our domestic manufacturing capability, improve our supply chain operation, and provide our customers with even better service and products than ever before.”

Leupold & Stevens, Inc., the preeminent American-owned optics company, employs hundreds of people in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Beaverton, Ore. Family owned and operated, Leupold offers products that are sold worldwide to hunters, competitive shooters, American military warfighters, law enforcement personnel and wildlife observers. The product line includes rifle, handgun and spotting scopes; binoculars; rangefinders; trail cameras; mounting systems; and optical tools and accessories.

If all parts are American sourced, why do they need a Global supply chain expert?
