Many of these polls ask leading questions. The poll results about renewable energy vs fossil fuel or nuclear energy begs the question of how informed the participants are. The feasibility of renewable energy from other than hydro-power is seriously questionable. Even hydro-power has environmental impacts.
When such a poll includes questions that determine the knowledgebase of the participants, it will have greater validity.
