Old Saybrook, CT –-(Ammoland.com)- Traditions Performance Firearms is honored to have received a support award from the non-profit organization Outdoor Women United.

Traditions Firearms and OWU have been working together since 2012 to help familiarize more women with muzzleloaders and hunting.

Rebecca Wood, founder of Outdoor Women United, presented this award to Traditions Firearms President Tom Hall at the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Of this award, Hall says “I am honored to receive this award from Outdoor Women United. This organization is great for both women and for families. Becky and her team are working hard to make a difference in our industry and Traditions is proud to be aligned with this organization.”

Founded in 2005 by Rebecca Wood, Outdoor Women Unlimited is dedicated to providing women and families with the education and the excitement of the outdoor experience through teaching outdoor life skills, sharing the knowledge of our natural resources, all while building self esteem, strengthening individual character, and promoting self-reliance in a safe and professional environment.

The caption on the photo says ‘outdoor women unlimited’ but the article ‘outdoor women united’ I’m not sure which is correct, but either phrase turns up unfortunate video results in google.
