The idea behind the printable AR15 lower is that the the part the gov. calls the “Gun” it has the serial number, everything else can be added to it, uppers, stocks etc. once you have the lower, technically you have ar-15,. You can “print” your own lowers as long as you don’t sell them.

How many people can afford that? And besides, it might work for a lower or magazine for an AR, but you are still going to need the upper, barrel and ammo.
