Yes, despite what has been portrayed by the sitting V.P. and your favorite Hollywood action film, it is indeed possible to miss your target with a shotgun.

A 12 gauge shotgun can be a devastatingly effective personal defense tool, but you need to understand it’s capabilities.

    1. Gun no better than user. Use a slug, plan on putting holes’ hru couple walls. Your hunting shotgun probably has to tight of a choke and to long. Good 18″ pistol grip, with correct. Attached light (At least 140 lum with strobe function).

      Mine is loaded witn 2 bean bag (can’t say I didn’t give him a chance), 1. Flechette and 4 buck and ball. Last sheel steel anti-personnel slug (You know he may be Godzilla).

      Also have rock salt and bolo rounds (2steel balls connected by 18″ of stainless steel wire). Just depends on perps attitude. One group of loads in trench gun, second in coach gun. Side by side beside bed.

      After reading article last night (for those who won’t. or can’t use firearm, get a can of wasp spray! Accurate to 20 feet, less chance than pepper sray from getting you. Always aim for eyes (temporary blindes & must go to hosp for antidote (then they are easy to find)!
