The real problem when SHTF is going to be pefectly sane people who run out of food and want to kill you and take what you have to survive. When people get hungry enough and desperate enough they will resort to things they would not normally do.

What about people on the wrong medication. Some of these mass murders were on anti-depressants. Certain anti-depressants have been proven to cause suicidal thoughts.

It is not the mentally ill that usually commit these crimes as the people who “want you to think they are mentally ill.” I have never known anyone suffering withdrawals, from coming off meds ,to want to harm anyone else. This is a false assumption. They may possibly harm themselves, but that is their choice and no harm to us. It is always easier to go on a witch hunt than to call criminals, criminals. They sure have plenty of sense planning all these crimes. Lets make the criminals own what they do. They love it when you or the mentally ill are blamed for what they do. It takes the spotlight off them and they can keep on doing what they do best.

Excellent article. Everyone should stock up on their important meds and vitamins. But I think the severly mental ill are most of the time “off their meds” without daily supervision. And the real danger of the 20% on anti-depression meds is if they stop the meds suddenly the suicide feelings increase.
