Third Season of Series Kicks Off July 3rd 2013.
Temecula, Calif. –-(Ammoland.com)- Award-winning entertainer Joe Mantegna returns to Outdoor Channel when the third season of “MidwayUSA’s Gun Stories” kicks off July 3rd at 8:00 pm ET.
Until then, the busy actor has a number of projects in the works!
The Tony Award winner will bring his talent to the stage when he reprises the role he originated – Ricky Roma – in a limited engagement of Glengarry Glen Ross at the James Bridges Theater in Los Angeles from May 16th – May 19th. He is also co-hosting the 2013 National Memorial Day Concert with Gary Sinise (“CSI: New York”) for the eighth consecutive year on Sunday, May 26th at 8:00 pm ET on PBS.

Joe Mantegna is in demand! With the “Gun Stories” return and recent CBS pickup of “Criminal Minds,” Joe will be back on TV for the majority of 2013! “Gun Stories” will take viewers through the summer and “Criminal Minds” returns for its ninth season this fall.
New episodes of “MidwayUSA’s Gun Stories” air on Outdoor Channel beginning with the third season premiere on July 3rd at 8:00 pm ET.
Hosted by Joe Mantegna, the show takes viewers through a firearm’s history, from the heart of its design through its use on the range. Gun Stories looks at the operation and performance of each weapon, from classics like the Mauser bolt-action to cutting-edge firearms like the Adaptive Combat Rifle. Throughout the series, historians, shooters, trainers and industry experts place these weapons in their historical and social context, making Gun Stories a unique and definitive collection on the history of firearms.
