Available in both standard 7-round and officer’s 6-round 1911 sizes, the new Pro-Carry magazines are coated with a special low friction Xylan coating. This feature helps to guarantee that magazine changes can be smoothly executed every time and that empty magazines do not need to be manually pulled from the pistol.
Everything about the incredibly reliable, resilient Pro-Carry magazine line is designed to ensure proper function. Both the body and follower are made out of durable heat-treated stainless steel and feature a special flat-skirted follower and extra power spring.
After its 2011 acquisition by A.T. Wall, ATW’s precision stamping and tube drawing subsidiary, Metalform fully consolidated with ATW’s strong firearms and defense capabilities, which include precision CNC machining, metal injection molding (MIM), laser cutting, precision metal tubing, and stamping.
