“2013” marks the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy, Inc. located in Ebensburg, PA. Today they graduated it’s ninety-fourth class.
Outdoorsmen and women from all across the US seek out their prestigious taxidermy training. Students and graduates have won thousands of awards in state, national and world taxidermy championships. The school was founded in 1983 by Dan Bantley host of the Taxidermy Trails Television Show. Their program consists of seven months of extensive training in fish, bird and mammal taxidermy and complemented by education in business and personal skills. Upon completion of the course most graduates start their own businesses.
P.I.T. is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, approved by the US Department of Education and Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Financial Assistance is available to those who qualify.
