EXETER, NH –-(Ammoland.com)- SIG SAUER team captain Max Michel successfully defended his Open Pro Division title at the Pro-Am championship in Frostproof, Fla., this past weekend.

A unique match, the Pro-Am features all-steel targets and a par time for each stage. The final scores are simply based on the number of targets knocked down within the allotted time. Michel finished 12 targets ahead of the runner-up.

As a Pro Sponsor, SIG SAUER continues its growing support for competitive shooting. From USPSA and IDPA to multigun/3-gun and events such as the Pro-Am, SIG SAUER is committed to providing the support needed for these events to grow and thrive.

In addition to match support, SIG SAUER contributed a P226 X-Five, (2) SP2022 and (2) P250 to the match’s prize table. The Pro-Am is designed to give newer shooters a fun and simple match in which to compete. By supporting these events, SIG SAUER hopes to help foster the next generation of competitive shooters.

Next up for Michel is the World Speed Shooting Championship, also in Frostproof, Fla.
