Apex joins Blade-Tech Industries, Montana Gold Bullet, MyGunDB, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Ruger, SIG SAUER, Tactical Defense Solutions and Smith & Wesson, the title sponsor of the match, in supporting the New England Regional which is among the region’s largest defensive pistol shooting competitions.
In addition to sponsoring the Smith & Wesson New England Regional, Apex is also the presenting sponsor of the King of New England series which is made up of three major New England matches, including the New England Regional.
“Apex has been extremely generous in their support for the shooting sports and particularly IDPA competition here in New England. We could not be more pleased to welcome them as one of our major sponsors,” said Dori Smith of the MetroWest Tactical IDPA club.
“Apex is proud to support the Smith & Wesson New England Regional and the greater IDPA community across the region. IDPA competition is exploding in the Northeast and that’s thanks in part to great matches like the New England Regional,” said Scott Folk of Apex.
The Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship will take place August 16-18 at the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club in Harvard, Massachusetts and will again be hosted by the MetroWest Tactical IDPA club.
The 2013 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship is expected to draw upwards of 200 of the region’s top shooters. Registration for the event opened on May 1 and match officials report that the competition is sold out with a waiting list of shooters hoping for a last minute opening.
