NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Deal-of-the-day coupons have proven to be effective promotions for attracting customers to shooting facilities, but some providers’ policies of working with firearms-related companies have fluctuated with the political winds.

Groupon, the biggest of these companies, that previously banned gun related coupons, has recently become a player again, but there are others in this coupon game now.

Read The Range Report article that carries an update on Groupon, LivingSocial and other deal-of-the-day companies.

Well, bill bagger, you live by the “Grammar Nazi” and you die by the Grammar Nazi. I don’t know what language you were trying to emulate with “learn propers English” and I don’t care. The first rule of liberal discourse is to NEVER speak to the subject matter but rather demonize the messenger.

There are now several different means to accomplish the service that groupon (no caps intentional as they don’t deserve them) used to provide, and more power to them. I hope groupon goes the way of the Dodo bird, and soon.

@Coitus McFallsy: ‘is is’ did you make an error? Oh my god, you must be too lazy to learn propers English. Maybe give Spanglish a try. Uphill, downhill, sideways or self inflicted, there is no excuse for ‘is is’.

“Grammar Nazi” is is the defense mechanism of those too lazy to learn how to speak proper English. We already have an uphill battle, we don’t need to make it any harder with self-inflicted wounds like this.

@Coitus Falls: I two was disapfointed in their edumacation on this one. You NO that eveyone on ze internet LUVS grammar NAZIs.

TOO bad whoever wrote this isn’t educated enough to know the difference between “to” and “too”. I could accept a typo for the first error, but the second one confirms it is just ignorance of the writer. This isn’t an isolated incident, either. I am constantly reading pro-gun articles with misspellings and incorrect grammar. PLEASE figure out what spell-check and editors are! Mistakes like these just reinforce the concept that gun rights supporters are ignorant hillbillies, especially to those undecideds out there who HAVE bothered to learn proper English.
