BEAVERTON, Ore. --(Ammoland.com)- Leupold introduces new Porro prism 8x32mm and 10x32mm models in their BX-2 Acadia line of binoculars, giving consumers a mid-sized complement to the popular full sized models currently in production.

People generally prefer the look and feel of a roof prism design, but many find themselves seeking a balance between cost and performance. With the BX-2 Acadia, the search for that balance ends.

The new BX-2 Acadia binoculars deliver the optical benefits of the Porro prism design, but all the handling benefits of a mid-sized roof prism design. Well-balanced and easy to hold, the dielectrically coated prism surfaces improve light transmission and greatly improve resolution. The result is a razor sharp, brilliantly bright image in all lighting conditions. Fully multi-coated lenses enhance color rendition, which aids in delivering a crisp image. An easy to operate central focus knob makes focus easy to achieve and maintain in the field.

Lightweight, slim and ergonomic design makes the Acadia a great choice for an all-around binocular—particularly where weight and size are at a premium. The BX-2 Acadia is fully armored to protect against rough field conditions. Nitrogen-filled and completely waterproof, the Acadia is covered by Leupold’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Now available, the BX-2 Acadia carries an MSRP starting at $214.99 for the 8x32mm and $249.99 for the 10x32mm.
