NEWTOWN, Conn --(Ammoland.com)- Suppressors are now legal for use in hunting in North Carolina, thanks to recent action by the state legislature.
Law enforcement authorities are now writing regulations to implement the new law.
North Carolina is the 40th state to legalize suppressors, a certain sign that opinions are changing about the hearing-saving firearm accessory.
NSSF supports efforts to remove restrictions on the use of suppressors. See the NSSF Fact Sheet.
