77-Year-Old Man Defends Home From Burglar, The Missoulian, Missoula, Mont. 09/16/13.

Guns Save Lives

Guns Save Lives

USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

A man approached the home of a 77-year-old man in Missoula, Mont. and threw a chair through a window to gain access to the house.

Upon becoming aware of the intruder, the homeowner retrieved a gun and fired at the burglar, striking him once.

Once authorities arrived, the wounded man was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.

Missoula Detective Sgt. Scott Pastian noted that police suspect drugs may have been a factor in the attempted burglary. (The Missoulian, Missoula, Mont. 09/16/13)

      I have owned a PPK/S for several years but have only used it intermittently.A week ago I decided to make it my carry gun but found the slide VERY hard to actuate. A reputable local gunsmith examined & stated they could not suggest any remedies. Help me.

      HP 717-665-7343 Best bullet to use for PPK ?

    2. Might try google it !

    3. Try a good grade of gun grease. Oils tend to vaporize or degrade over time, causing this exact problem.

    4. Contact Walther USA and they’ll help you!

      Try cleaning it first! Then follow “BigR’s” advice. Good Luck.
