USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

.

This is just one of those stories;

An armed citizen was forced to face down three armed robbers at an ATM. The thugs jumped from their car and started shooting ta the victim who then returned fire hitting some of the robbers.

Police were mere blocks away. Fortunately, the officer supports the right to self-defense.

    1. Love these “Guns save lives” posts, but it would be very helpful to include two facts in the text: location and date. Both would be very helpful in filing these for use in lobbying or persuasion efforts. The videos often mention a town, but sometimes simply refer to “metro police” or “county officials”, and if it’s somewhere like Orange County it could be in a number of states. I’d love to be able to say, “This happened two weeks ago in our state,” to make this particular incident even more relevant to the discussion.
      Thanks!

    2. Now, if we can exhibit the same spirit of survival during those ethnic minority mob attackers, the nation will cleanse itself, one hoodlum per round.

    3. Dave, this apparently happened in Winter Garden, FL, about 15 miles west of Orlando. Your point is well made and I too would like to see this information disseminated with the videos. FWIW, it’s an old story going back to May of 2010 which may be why they don’t bother including location specifics.

    4. Jay, I agree. It couldn’t be Mexifornia, or the victim would still be in jail and the perps would be out on the streets trying to rob someone else.
