PROVO, Utah –-(Ammoland.com)- Action Target recently received the Patriotic Employer Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense for actively employing veterans and supporting employee participation in various branches of the military.

Andrew Church, who worked at Action Target after completing a tour in Iraq with the U.S. Army, presented the certificates to his former manager Mark Bleggi and Action Target Interim CEO Chip Smith.

The certificates read: “Office of the Secretary of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognizes Action Target as a patriotic employer for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.”

Church said he was appreciative of the company’s willingness to work with his difficult military training schedule while he was employed as an installer of shooting range equipment.
