    1. One thing I don’t understand – why did Mr. Taylor even open the door in the first place? At 10PM, I open my door for no one until I’ve positively identified the “visitor”. Better to put the onus on the bad guy, make him force his way in, then dispense justice.

    2. waddacrock is obviously an azz , you can’t always tell who is at the door , I have many friends , children and grandchildren , what if it was one of those needing help ?

    3. I don’t believe it’s our place to question the actions of the victim in this case. I know I’ve done many things which I’ve questioned myself about afterwards. The main point I got from the interview was, this is a policeman who is against all forms of gun control. Yeah! In my opinion, we need more cops, retired or not, just like him. Good going, officer. I’m glad it was the bad guy and not you.
