Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)-  In the middle of a January 2nd article describing the release of the new line of Duck Commander guns, CNN Money told readers: “Phil Robertson… was recently suspended–and reinstated–by A&E after making controversial statements about gay people and [blacks].”

This is a classic, doomed attempt to resuscitate a character assassination that did not work the first time around.

Breitbart News has already shown that what Robertson said about gay people was simply a recitation of 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 in the Bible. And that’s why he refused to recant: it was an expression of his faith.

Regarding blacks, Robertson talked of growing up and working in the fields of Louisiana with black people. He said he remembers how happy they were, and he credited their happiness to the fact that “they were godly.”

Is it “controversial” to notice when people are happy or godly?

Robertson also pointed out that he does not remember seeing racial tensions between blacks and whites as they worked side-by-side in the fields. And he believes this is because it was “pre-entitlement” and “pre-welfare.” In other words, it was before politicians began pitting one class against another–and one race against another–to garner votes.

    1. Be assured that the secular humanist christophobes will be out in full force in 2014. The Beast has been unchained, come out of the closet, and is seeking its prey.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

    2. I have looked and found that everything Robertson said was nether a lie or negative. he just gave his honest opinion and backed it up with scripture. he only said about Homosexuals, that he didn’t understand it. i have a few gay friends that have told me the same thing. He said about blacks , that they seemed a whole lot happier, in the past. It seems to me he said nothing near as bad as Bill Mahr, or Chris Matthews,or Jon Stewart. I have not heard of any of them being fired. personally i would like to see “Duck Dynasty” go to another network.
