The company marked the milestone with the executive team prepping the item—a Lasergrip for a 1911 pistol—for shipping from the company’s headquarters in Wilsonville, Oregon.

“While it may have taken 20 years to reach this important milestone, with more than 150 products in our line today, and with our expanded production and shipping facilities in place here in Oregon, we will produce and ship the next million products in far less time.”
The company is introducing more than a dozen new products in 2014 with numerous laser sights and light designs on the engineer’s drawing boards for future releases.
A customer in central Illinois purchased that historic Crimson Trace 1911 grip and won an expense paid trip to Wilsonville to tour the factory.
Among the efforts that have yielded the high production numbers are the launch of several product categories, including Lasergrips®, Laserguards, Lightguards, the Defender Series™ and the Rail Master®.
