NEWTOWN, Conn --( At last official estimate prior to the Dec. 31 midnight deadline, more than 30,000 Connecticut residents had submitted paperwork reporting that they own at least one modern sporting rifle, while another 17,000 declared they owned magazines with more than a 10-round capacity, according to the state’s largest newspaper.

Long lines were experienced at Connecticut State Police headquarters in Middletown early this week as state gun owners sought to comply with new gun laws.

    1. This is the kind of people (all 30,000 of them) that would have Reported the Jews to the Nazis, because they were told to “Do It”

    2. All that is missing from that line is the audio. Mooo & Baaaa! What a bunch of fools. They should have brought their guns and stuff with them, turned them in and saved the state the time and money when the gestapo comes to take them away.

Connecticut is the beginning of the END. I will NOT stand in any line ordered by the government or any other standing body.. DONT TREAD ON ME>

    5. Connecticut, like New Jersey, is just another suburb of New York City. Both states have “bedroom communities” where the NYC elite retreat to when they’re not working. That, in itself, explains a lot of why this is happening.

    6. Every single one of them are complete F*****g idiots.

    7. No, Andy, what they should have done was brought their guns and ammo, and turned them ON the Nazi bastards.

Most have been living under socialist rule for decades. Not everyone will register, the number may look large but i think that it only represents a small fraction of the armed population. The metropolitan areas were lost a long time ago due to socialist programing. Our Revolution was won with just 3% of the population, the same holds true today.

    9. Wow Hitler is back from the dead & living as a politician in Connecticut.. Morons who don’t learn from history are decaying the remainder of patriotic citizens

    10. “Register” their guns. More like be the first to have their guns confiscated when the time is right. Legal conceal carry applicants should not have to register their firearm.
