Fort Myers FL - -(Ammoland.com)- Hello friends, Happy Monday!
With SHOT just a week away (grab those paper bags to breathe into), I want to give you a heads up into the latest and greatest of a few of the companies who will be exhibiting at the show.
Princeton Tec (Booth 32003) Princeton Tec, manufacturer of headlamps and personal lighting for the outdoor, bike, tactical, industrial and SCUBA markets, has announced they will be unveiling several new products – among them is the REMIX PRO MPLS now has a 125 lumen Max bright LED spot beam for distance illumination, 3 multicolored Ultrabright LEDs for administrative lighting, as well as a flashing IR option. As part of Princeton Tec’s MPLS system, this light is designed with modular mounting options (NVG, MOLLE and Headlamp) and has a 185-degree tilting body with button protect position. One common CR123 cell powers this headlamp in all conditions. Additionally, the new Switch Rail, a low-output (10 lumens) weapon mounted light ideal for navigation, signature reduction, and stealth structure search and breaching operations. The recessed LEDs provide discreet lighting, and the light attaches directly to Picatinny Rail for secure mounting. The Switch Rail is available with choice of IR/Red, IR/White or Red/White LEDs. Many more products will be unveiled at the booth during the week – so be sure to stop by!
NextLevel Training (Booth 20239) NextLevel Training (NLT), manufacturer of firearms training products, has revolutionized the way shooters prepare with the SIRT Training Pistol™, has announced the SIRT 107 with functional features of the Smith & Wesson M&PTM. The new SIRT 107 Training Pistol model features several key upgrades designed to meet demanding training requirements. Users will notice the toggle switch has been moved from the slide to the frame and replaced with a 4-position switch. This upgrade will allow shooters to alternate among variable training modes: activate the prep laser, keeping the shot indication only mode and allowing the shooter to turn the laser off completely – acting as a basic dry fire tool. The prep modes allow users to select the activation point of the prep laser at the initial movement of the trigger or delay it closer to the reset for different training scenarios. This came about because of the explosion of SIRT integration into Defensive Tactics training in 2013.
