Manasquan, NJ –-(Ammoland.com)- Living here in New York State, with lots of newbie gunnies, it can be disconcerting to hear whispers of conversation about real radicals like us who share their firing line.

We radicals think that freedom-phobes want to disarm us.

Here’s what one of them, Ms. Lora Lumpe wrote in 2005. She said, ”the permissive and massive legal market for small arms in the United States is a major source of illicit firearms throughout the western hemisphere.” ( https://tiny.cc/33hubx ) That was not a loving statement. It was a condemnation of our love of freedom and a call for help that would squash us into gun-less submission to their goal.

Wendy Cukier discussed in 2005 the prohibition of ugly semi-automatic rifles. But, she noted, given “the large numbers of these weapons in civilian hands, the last element [prohibition] would be the most difficult. A compromise would be to prohibit the unregulated possession by civilians, thereby strengthening controls…” ( https://tiny.cc/35hubx)

These folks are not going away. They surround us – east, west, north and south – and they live within our borders. The newbie gunnies must learn that the truth is not radical. And yes, we’ve worked very hard to deal with these liars, but we will never be able to relax our vigilance, not with the Arms Trade Treaty looming in the background, and gaining strength.

Theodore Bromund, of the Heritage Foundation, follows the global activities of the freedom-phobes. He described the goals of the treaty proponents to include, “defining its ambiguous terms in ways that suit their agenda, planning its expansion, and attacking the United States.”

One term, “end user”, has been used quite a bit by proponents, and they almost never equate that term with civilians. However, we found a document published in 2011 by Amnesty International and the International Action Network on Small Arms ( https://tiny.cc/h8hubx )which slipped up and gave it all away. We individual civilian owners are part of the “end user” group. And “end users” must “operate under clear and accountable laws and regulations.” But no, they lied, American civilian gun owners will not be affected by the ATT.

Our new gun owning brother & sisters were not around for the confiscations that followed regulation. They can now see the progression of the lie that promised greater safety to society that would result from registration to the truth that civilian disarmament is the real goal.

In New York City, owners of long-guns must register them in order to possess them and remain legal. In New York State, the recent (NY) SAFE Act called for the prohibition of certain fearful looking semiautomatic rifles, many of which were owned and registered in the city. Recently, those registered owners were asked to “modify the weapons, move them out of the city or turn them in at a police station.

Those of us who live within the state, but not within the city limits must also follow those rules, or become felons. One of the unstated reasons for a new all-inclusive instant gun check is to make it easier to keep the records of the checks and purchases and easier for authorities to track the next batch of weapons to be banned.

And again, in Connecticut, as of this past January 1 2014, fearful looking semi-automatic guns were defined as illegal. An estimate of up to 350,000 guns were not declared to local authorities. Dan Haar, of The Courant, wrote, “By owning unregistered guns defined as assault weapons all of them [the owners] are committing Class D felonies.

The Washington Times documented a case of a businessman whose house was searched by “30 armed officers in full tactical gear,” and he is facing two-years in jail for possessing ammunition.

So if the intent of this authoritarian behavior is to keep us all safe by creating jails full of felons, then we are well on our way to such safety. But if the real reason is to harass freedom loving Americans into turning our guns over to authorities, they are far from that goal.

This decade finds us battling unconstitutional laws at home. In the next decade, the Arms Trade Treaty will begin its invasive thrusts against civilian gun owners, joining and strengthening our own domestic turncoats.

We don’t see any relief in the near or distant future. The globe is being organized and regulated until the time comes when the only civilians who freely keep and bear arms will be our progeny. The stronger we become, the more freedom we leave to them.

The new gun owners must be educated. They must understand the responsibilities of freedom. This generation of gun owners can no longer wait on the sidelines for others to carry the load.

This is an attack on the Constitution of the United States and is illegal. These Anti-Americans should be charged with treason and thrown in jail.

Just WHAT is the definition of an “ugly semi-automatic rifle”? It WILL be defined as ANY semi-automatic rifle. They might not even know what a semi-auto is…but it will be ugly, regardless.

The Progressive’s anti-gun coalition hopes to overcome our resolve by constantly launching new anti 2nd Amendment schemes. We’ve seen them all. This is a constant battle and to quote Reverend Al Sharpton: “Resist We Must!”

Registration = Confiscation
