Wilsonville, OR – -(Ammoland-(<a title=”AmmoLand Reports” href=”https://www.ammoland.com/” target=”_self”>Ammoland.com</a>)- as an Editor’s Choice.

The recognition was noted on page 30 in the March 2014 issue of the NRA’s American Rifleman magazine, a firearms focused publication that has been recognized as one of America’s Top 25 magazines.

“The Rail Master Pro opens a new chapter for Crimson Trace,” said Mark A. Keefe, IV, Editor-In-Chief of American Rifleman.

“What the Rail Master Pro does is provide both a powerful white light and a laser (in red or green) in one compact package. It’s a versatile and compact unit we found easy to mount on several different platforms.”

The magazine review by Joseph L. Kurtenbach, Associate Editor, noted that “when it comes to fast target acquisition, especially in low light environments or under stressful conditions, these tools (Rail Master Pro) are second-to-none for illuminating targets and engaging them with speed and accuracy.”

Crimson Trace’s Rail Master Pro utilizes Secure-Lock Technology to securely attach to a gun’s frame or rail system. Models are offered with a red laser (CMR-205) or green laser (CMR-204) and a powerful 100-lumen LED white light. Laser or light activation is instant with tap-on and tap-off controls. The Rail Master Pro utilizes several operation modes, including: light and laser, laser only, light only and strobing light paired with the laser. The unit is factory zeroed at 50 feet and automatically shuts-off after five minutes of non-use.

“Crimson Trace is honored that the National Rifle Association editors chose the Rail Master Pro for this recognition,” said Lane Tobiassen, Crimson Trace’s President and CEO. “Our engineers worked hard to develop a rugged, reliable system that is easy to use and simple to install – like all Crimson Trace products. This great NRA review confirms that the engineers developed a winner.”

Rail Master Pros are available now in Crimson Trace’s on-line store at www.crimsontrace.com and will soon be available in gun shops across America. The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price for the CMR-205 (red) is $279 and the MSRP for the CMR-204 (green) is $379.

This is an awesome light and exactly what I wanted. It works really well at night and the green laser worked pretty well during the day. I hate that there wasn’t many holster options out there yet but that’s understandable seeing as it’s such a new product. I ended up getting a custom holster made for it that worked out great and now I can keep the laser on my Glock for home defense and concealed carry. https://youtu.be/LvvJOPKnoCc
