PFLUGERVILLE, TX – -(Ammoland.com)- TrackingPoint, creator of the world’s first Precision Guided Firearm (PGF) system, today announced that it has begun accepting bitcoin cryptocurrency as payment for all its products. Coinvoice has been named as the payment processing service of record for TrackingPoint, enabling customers to purchase TrackingPoint rifles and accessories using the new form of digital cash.

“TrackingPoint was founded with a mission of encouraging new technology and ideas. We’re proponents of progress, both internally in our smart rifle development and externally in the rapidly modernizing world around us,” said John Lupher, TrackingPoint CEO.

“The recent advent and success of cryptocurrency has the potential to redefine our monetary system—and we must continue to innovate in our business practices as well as our technology.”

Effective immediately, customers can work with the TrackingPoint sales team to arrange payment in bitcoin. Calculations for bitcoin equivalents will be made at time of purchase, using the online XE currency converter to determine the appropriate dollars-to-bitcoin exchange rate.

TrackingPoint’s PGF system is changing real-world marksmanship by enabling a shooter to track and hit moving targets at extreme ranges, and enabling mastery within minutes. PGF enables the gun to track and hit moving targets at extreme ranges by first “tagging” the target with a laser dot. The tag persists on the target, regardless of relative movement. Once the PGF reticle aligns with the tag, the system calculates an exact firing solution factoring in range, wind, target velocity, shot angle, rifle cant, temperature, barometric pressure and other factors.

TrackingPoint PGF rifles are priced beginning at $9,995 and are available for purchase by application only. To learn more, go to www.tracking-point.com.
