USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

A group of masked and armed men entered Hardy Nix Jewelers in Antioch, Calif. and attempted to rob the store.

The store’s owner responded by obtaining a gun and exchanging gunfire with the criminals, striking and killing one, and causing the others to flee.

One customer was wounded during the incident, but her injuries are described as non-life-threatening. (The San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco, Calif. 04/12/14, The San Jose Mercury News, San Jose, Calif. 04/11/14)

    1. They got it wrong! Antioch is a rural town by the Sacramento river surrounded by farms. A lot of common sense people. It’s not even close to San Francisco. This act of defense would probably never happen in San Francisco because people in San Francisco are conditioned to dial 911 and assume the execution style position hoping for the best!
