Show Down at the Bundy Ranch

Montana – -(Ammoland.com)- Founder of Oath Keepers, Stewart Rhodes, is in Bunkerville, Nevada at the Bundy Ranch.  I spoke with Stewart late Sunday afternoon and recorded the audio interview below.

About Oath Keepers
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders  who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. See the Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will Not Obey for details.

Oath Keepers reaches out to both current serving and veterans to remind them of their oaths, to teach them more about the Constitution they swore to defend, and to inspire them to defend it. See below for details on how we do that.

Our motto is “Not on our watch!”

    1. Makes me proud to live in America. When I see, WE THE PEOPLE come together for the a good cause, especially when you see government thugs trying to push the people out.

    2. Bundy has ignored federal law for 20 years.

    3. Jamie, if you read into the history of the situation, you’ll find out you’re wrong. The water and forage rights were purchased from the territory of Nevada in the 1870s by Bundy’s great great grandfather and sold down each generation to the present day. It was always open range. When it became public land they agreed to pay grazing fees. It was when the BLM came up with the “Desert Tortise” ploy that the fees jumped up and they asked him to cut his herd from 900 to 150 that he told them to shove it and stopped paying the bogus fees.
All his neighbors were put out of business trying to pay the exorbinant fees the BLM wanted and the only reason he’s in business today is the fact he refused. They are supposed to manage the land for the public, which they didn’t do, so they did not uphold their end of the contract to start with. All the upgrades to the property that were done came out of Bundy’s pocket.
