MAUMEE, OH. -(Ammoland.com)- The Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP) announces that Fiocchi USA is the latest Bronze-level sponsor of the program.
In addition to its overall sponsorship, Fiocchi will be one of the centerfire ammunition suppliers for the 2014 Junior/Senior National Championships.
“Fiocchi has been a longtime supporter of the Scholastic Clay Target Program,” said Jackie Stenton, Sales/Shoots and Promotions, Fiocchi USA.
“So it was only natural for us to be a part of the pistol program as well. We look forward to working with this next generation of action shooters in the Scholastic Pistol Program.”
“We’re glad to have Fiocchi as one of our ammunition partners for 2014,” said Tammy Mowry, Program Manager, Scholastic Pistol Program. “The addition of their 9mm ammunition will allow our athletes to practice and compete at the biggest stage of youth action-shooting events, the SPP Junior/Senior Nationals.”
The 2014 SPP Junior/Senior Nationals, the largest national youth action-shooting sports championships, will be held July 14-19 at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, IL. Teams will be vying for titles in Junior Rimfire, Junior Centerfire, Senior Rimfire, and Senior Centerfire divisions.
SPP also offers its Virtual E-Postal Match Series, which is a way teams can compete without having to travel to other ranges. In addition to competing against other squads for national titles, they will also be eligible to win prizes in random drawings.
