Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)-  When (killers names hidden) arrived at Wal-Mart after killing two police officers at CiCi’s Pizza, they were confronted by concealed carry permit holder Joseph Robert Wilcox, whom police describe as a “hero.”

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a police official said 31-year-old Wilcox “was legally carrying a concealed pistol” and confronted Killer J without knowing Killer A was with him.

Killer A “was pushing a shopping cart” and “lying in wait” for Wilcox. She got in “behind Wilcox and shot him at close range.”

The official said, “He had no idea the wife was walking behind him. This guy (Wilcox) was not some idiot with a gun. To me, he was a hero. He was trying to stop an active shooter.”

    1. Seems pretty clear, RDNK.

Good person with a gun stopped a bad person with a gun. Another bad person ambushed the good person.

BUT, as in so many of these situations, once the bad person was shot, or even confronted in some situations, the incident stopped as the bad person(s) take themselves out instead of committing further atrocities.

    2. A sad day, RIP Joe Wilcox.
Trying to do the right thing, refuses to be helpless.
If we can learn anything it’s that crazies often come in pairs.

    3. Let me say it like it is. First, F those idiots who decided to kill those police officers and that brave civilian who tried to do something good. Here is what all of you need to know and see. Crazy shooters will always be around, whether they use guns or cars or other weapons, it is sadly the way it is. Many people get killed by those using vehicles on purpose to run over those they hate for many reason. Do we try to eliminate cars? No we don’t, they are tools but they can be used as weapons and are used like weapons for more then many of you know, screwdrivers are used as stabbing weapons and pens and pencils, but media and politicians choose not to say anything. Guns get all the attention. What is important here is criminals do not follow more anti gun laws, use your common sense if you have any. So what is the solution, don’t know but you can’t change those who have hate and want to purposely commit crimes, it has always been this way and will always be like this sadly to say. We need other things besides anti gun laws, there have been plenty of them on the books. Politicians and others cry for more of them to fool people and justify their corrupt actions and jobs as politicians. This civilian who tried to do something good in a NV CCW state we should all be proud of, he very sadly gave his life for trying to help and save others, yet many of you don’t see it.

What would many of you have done, run away and watch many die? Probably so. Instead he chose to do something, the outcome was not good for him but that is life. He did not know there was a 2nd suspect and many times, there are far more then one. How do you people know his actions did not advocate these two killers to commit murder suicide? These two losers new NV is a CCW state and more could be carrying weapons to use to stop them and some not. So we will never know but at least this brave guy got their attention and many escaped Walmart to live another day while this brave soul took them on and lost. So he still saved lives with his weapon. A perfect scenario would be he to have deleted them but that did not happen. His intervention caused them to run into the another area of the store and commit suicide and murder. What if he never intervened? These cowards would have killed more before the offed themselves. God Bless the two police officers and this good brave citizen and their families.
