Washington, DC --(Ammoland.com)- “What is wrong with the people here in this country?” asked anti-gun Senator Barbara Boxer on the floor of the Senate Monday.

Boxer was questioning why even the anti-gun Senate had not heeded her call for more gun bans, and concluded that something was wrong with America.

Well, here’s an idea, Senator Boxer:  Nothing’s wrong with America. But something is wrong with you.

And, in particular, something’s wrong with your state of California, which registers guns, bans many semi-automatics, has a $24 million gun confiscation program to send SWAT teams to people’s homes, and is rated by the anti-gun Brady Campaign as having the strictest gun control laws in the nation — and yet was unable to prevent another massacre of students on May 23 2014.

It probably won’t surprise you that Sen. Boxer doesn’t blame this massacre on the fact that California left all of the victims as unarmed “sitting ducks.”

Or that even the New York Times now realizes that its sensationalist coverage has created these copycat killings.

Or that it’s the CRIMINAL who is actually at fault!

No.  Boxer instead concluded that this was another opportunity for her to exploit a tragedy for political gain.  And that’s exactly what she has done.

The text of Boxer’s hilariously-named “Pause for Safety Act” was not available at press time.  But, by her own definition, it would allow a universe of people which could include virtually anyone (for instance, “co-workers,” according to Boxer) to sue to take your guns away.

After the lawsuit is commenced, you would have to take thousands of dollars (which, presumably, you have lying around the house) and hire a lawyer to resist that petition.  Of course, if you didn’t have the money to hire a lawyer, your constitutional rights vanish in thin air.

Gun Owners of America has had lots of experience with the far-less-expansive restraining order gun ban added to the “prohibited persons list” in 18 U.S.C. 922(d) and (g).

Constantly – and we mean constantly – we receive e-mails from innocent law-abiding members who cannot afford the cost of resisting a petition to take their guns away.  Constantly, we see the impact of “he-said she-said” reciprocal gun-ban petitions which are the inevitable outcome of failed relationships which are increasingly common in America.

So, yes, Senator Boxer:  We understand what you’re up to.  If the Boxer bill were to become law, virtually anyone could lose their guns at any time because someone with “deep pockets” didn’t like them.

But the good news is that Boxer’s proposal is so transparently anti-gun and so odious that we can nip it in the bud if we act now.

ACTION:  Contact your Senators.  Ask them to oppose Barbara Boxer’s crazy anti-gun “Pause for Safety Act.”

    1. There again she keeps getting the homo votes and is from an area that is so anti gun that they live behind a walled in community. She also is another that has armed security with her where ever she goes. To that dirty dog boxer there are people here in CA that just do not think much of her or what she stands for. boxer is another anti rights type the way she is she only rights for those that have the money to pay for them, and everyone else well she just does not think that the regular person deserves to have any thing in the way of any kind of civil rights or any other type of rights.

    2. There is nothing wrong with the people of this country, however, there are many very serious things wrong with our government. Obama, Reid, Boxer and the rest are simply anti-Constitution and Un-American, doing anything and everything they can to obtain so much power they’ll be invincible. Even if that notion is only in their feeble minds.

    3. “Taxation without Representation” explains this Democratic dysfunction. The ‘Progressive’ agenda means more to them than the wishes of the tax paying majority. Though they tout compromise, there is none from them.

    4. Barbara Boxer, maybe it is time for Congress to pass a “Pause for Sanity Act” … you know … try passing some Laws that make Sense.

    5. This woman is just as bad as Feinstein and the rest. They have no idea of what gun control should be. All they want is to take our weapons but they are protected by thousands of guns with the capitol police, Secret Service and others that have the weapons and are controlled by them. Bullshit.

    6. I know one thing for sure. Thank God I’m native Texan and have lived here all my life. If any of this bullshit was to ever pass and become law,the State of Texas would tell the federal government to go to hell right before succession ! “Texas like a whole other country” !

    7. In spite of all the negative rhetoric about California, there are a large number of us here who are fighting like hell to protect our gun rights (and all the other rights, as well). Biggest problem we face is that all the votes are in the three urban areas of LA, SF and the state capitol. These areas are the homes of the progressive gangsters like Boxer and her evil twin, Feinstein. They don’t give a rat’s ass for the rest of California.
Luckily, we have organizations like our GOA affiliate GOC and attorneys like Chuck Michel, among others who are trying to educate voters.
It’s a tough fight, but it ain’t over yet, folks.

Don’t write us off with smart-assed remarks. We could use the support of the gun community nationwide.

    8. Pinpuller, you’ve got my support. I’m an ex-resident of The Peoples Democratik Republik of New York. I’m now a resident of Florida. I belong to several rights groups and WE ALL have to stand up to these socialist traitors. Letter writing, e-mails, phone calls, petitions have proven effective in getting out the legitimate vote and removing these traitors from office. Maybe they should go from Office to Gallows. It worked in Colorado, it can work in Kalifornia.

    9. Pinpuller –I’m fighting right here with ya! And the rest of the States need to understand (as Pete does), that for every State that falls to the freedom-haters, that’s one less State in their battle. These tyranny lovers are like locusts and they are invading/infiltrating all of the States one by one. Don’t think you are “safe” because you live in a “red” State. Texas still has that crazy Rep Sheila Lee Jackson who said the Constitution ids 400 yrs old and compares the TEA Party to the KKK – so you’re not without Kool-aid drinkers as well! As Benjamin Franklin said upon signing the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776: “We must all hang together or assuredly, we will all hang separately”.

    10. “Or that it’s the CRIMINAL who is actually at fault!”
Yup, aided and abetted by left wing political hacks, like Boxer, who seem to feel that only their lives are really worth protecting. The States of New York and Connecticut have made hundreds of thousands of freedom loving Americans into felons because they have refused the tyrannical laws to register their firearms. Now, this brain dead liberal moron wants to further heap more laws that may, or may not, be followed onto a free people. Our Founders warned us that these days would be upon us. The Tree of Liberty is being hacked at by elitists who believe that they hold authority over the rights of others. After all that abuse, said Tree made well need some refreshing. MOLON LABE
