      to whom it may concern,
i live in pa. last july i tried to purchase a handgun for home and personal protection. after running a background check, much to my surprise i was denied the purchase. after some investigation i learned the reason was that i had five dui in five years the last being in 1986.

since that period of time i have not received even so much as a littering fine.totally clean. i had paid the price for what i did and they are now punishing me for the rest of my life for something i had already paid the price for. this is a ex post facto situation and is unconstitutional. why are they being allowed to do this? i know that there are many in my situation. thank you for your time.
