Gander Mountain

Wichita, KS -(Ammoland.com)- Since its national launch in 2011, Gander Mountain Academy has earned a reputation as an innovative industry leader in firearms education and training.

Today, the Gander Mountain Academy facility in Wichita, KS, is expanding its offerings to serve even more people who want to learn and train on the safe and effective use of firearms.

The 7,000 square-foot Gander Mountain Academy located on the Arkansas River in downtown Wichita is introducing a new pricing structure designed to make the training center’s top-level instruction and technology more affordable and accessible to all. And in a first-of-its-kind program, the Wichita academy is offering yearly memberships designed for the most enthusiastic and loyal patrons of Kansas’ top firearms training center.

“Since we opened the Wichita academy nearly three years ago, the response has been tremendous from people who have been eager for top-notch instructors and a clean, comfortable, state-of-the-art place to learn and perfect firearms safety and proficiency,” said Chris Juelich, national director of Gander Mountain Academy. “With this new pricing structure and by offering memberships for the first time, we’re making the Wichita facility even more accessible to countless firearms enthusiasts who want to learn more and train more often at more affordable rates.”

Starting Thursday, June 19, all 60-minute sessions in the academy’s live range and 30-minute sessions in the academy’s virtual range and simulators will cost just $15, down from the regular rate of $25. In addition, patrons can now purchase a $50 annual membership to Gander Mountain Academy. The membership will allow for one year of discounted rates, including just $10 for a 60-minute live range or 30-minute virtual range/simulator session, 10 percent off classes and 20 percent off private instruction sessions.

Wichita is one of six Gander Mountain Academy locations in the U.S. The concept debuted in 2011 with academies opening in Lake Mary, FL; Spring, TX; Madison, WI; Lakeville, MN; La Crosse, WI and Wichita. Each Gander Mountain Academy is a unique destination experience which sets new standards for those looking to develop and improve their firearms safety and proficiency, from the novice to the advanced enthusiast, and all in a safety-first, family friendly environment.
