WEST POINT, MS – (AmmoLand.com) Mossy Oak’s HUNTING THE COUNTRY begins its new season with a brand new strategy, taking viewers who live and breathe the outdoors deeper inside the stories that inspire, entertain and excite us all.

Elk high in the Rockies and whitetail deer in the Deep South and Great Plains drive the adrenaline, and the stories of those who chase them touch on the common ground tread by hunters nationwide. Veterans who’ve bled to keep our country free, youngsters hot on the trail of their first bucks and enthusiasts of every stripe fill episodes that will remind you why you’re proud to live a life outside.

More cameras, more angles and more attention to detail position HUNTING THE COUNTRY to bring the audience closer to the heart of the matter than ever before. HUNTING THE COUNTRY airs on Outdoor Channel at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. every Tuesday, with a bonus airing Saturdays at midnight; all times Eastern.

HUNTING THE COUNTRY portrays hunting stories from the very heart of the tradition on the brand’s flagship series. Launched in 1995, one of the longest-running series in outdoor television remains one of the most popular, because no matter how much technology comes into play, at its heart, hunting’s heritage remains the same.

Industry partners for Mossy Oak’s HUNTING THE COUNTRY include Mossy Oak, RAM Trucks, C’Mere Deer, Swhacker Broadheads, Leupold, Remington, Can Am, PSE, and Morrell.
