Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)-  As previously reported, legislation banning certain popular firearms and restricting the maximum capacity of ammunition magazines from 15 to 10 rounds was sent to Governor Chris Christie (R) for his consideration.

A.2006/S.993, sponsored by anti-gun state Senator Loretta Weinberg (D-37), is another step towards disarming law-abiding New Jersey residents and tipping the balance in favor of criminals who prefer an unarmed populace as victims.  As experience shows, criminals simply ignore such gun control laws.

Even if you have already done so, it is important that you call and e-mail Governor Christie and respectfully urge him to veto A.2006/S.993:

Chris Christie thinks he’s being cute and he obviously thinks we’re stupid. He has lost my vote. The Dems have pulled a good one on him, they know he wants to sign that bill and they put him over a barrel with it. Also Mike Bloomturd has most likely gotten to him and is paying him off.

The fact that he hasn’t vetoed it & other draconian bills that come up is a good reason not to support him for president. What we don’t need is another useless RINO

He should ask Gov Hickenlooper of Colorado what happens to governors who sign gun control legislation.

I agree with the first poster.

Beware the RINO! What we really need is a leader with balls and believes in the Constitution, not another political coward or anti-US democrat. It would also be good if our new politicians were interested in what’s good for the country, not lining their own pockets with as much money as possible. Got that Harry Reid.

We all know he’s anti gun. His dithering means he’s undecided about his Presidential run. If he plans to run he’ll veto. If not he’ll sign. You can NOT get the Republican nomination and sign these anti gun bills!
