Larry Murphy to succeed Pat Rainey as CEO of PROOF Research
He succeeds Pat Rainey who is stepping down from his current role and will remain in a senior advisor role and support business development during the transition.
A resident of Northwestern Montana, Larry Murphy brings PROOF Research 25 years of executive management and leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, and has most recently served as the CEO of the Thompson Technology Group. Previous leadership positions have included President and COO of Semitool, Inc. and President and CEO of Tosoh SMD. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geophysics and geology from Michigan State University and received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
