The ATF should no be congratulated for the mess that remains with NFA Form processing. I have a Form 4 that was submitted Dec 3, 2013 and I am told I can still expect to wait several more months. The Tax Stamp check was cashed within days of submission. I added a second Form 4 item about four months ago. My FFL suggested I wait for the E-Forms system for faster return. After waiting two months for the system to be up after crashing regularly we gave up and submitted paper again. Again the Tax Stamp check was cashed within a week, and I was told to expect to receive approval in Spring 2015. This makes no sense. The E-Forms implementation makes healthcare.com look like a perfect role-out.
