The latest air rifles from Gamo are supposed to be somewhat improved. However they lost any hope of seeing my business with horrid triggers and twang and bang vibrations that would knock your molars loose. Marketing via the killing of a wild hog with a .177 caliber air rifle was also in my opinion a non starter. Gamo knows as do other air gun makers that a 1,200 fps diabolo pellet wont be stable in flight, yet they market it as a gimmick in the hope of selling ONE air rifle, rather than creating and educating an “airgunner” who will be purchasing more air rifles in future. Hardly a responsible business model over all for the shooting sports industry if you ask me.
