Little Rock, AR -(Ammoland.com)- The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) is pleased to announce that Chris Cox, the Executive Director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, will be the featured speaker at the Association’s Annual Awards Reception and Dinner.
NASGW members will recognize Chris Cox from his frequent appearances on national news shows and print publications defending the Second Amendment. Cox has served as the Executive Director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) since 2002.
As the chief lobbyist and principal political strategist, Cox oversees eight NRA-ILA divisions that cover the gamut of interests and concerns of the National Rifle Association’s 5,000,000 members. Directing the NRA’s nationwide legal, legislative and political efforts, Cox develops and executes political campaign and legislative initiatives, coordinates advertising and direct mail programs as well as the ILA’s annual budget.
He also serves as the Association’s principal point of contact with the US Senate and House of Representatives, the White House and federal agencies.
Chris will speak at NASGW Awards program on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 just prior to the opening of the NASGW Expo scheduled for October 15-17 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, AR.
